Charlotte Works is the workforce development board for Mecklenburg County. This nonprofit connects job seekers and employers, and provides skills training and work opportunities for youth and adults. 

There are a variety of record request options available to the public.

Register to vote or update your existing registration electronically.

Check your registration status and voting location by using the NCSBE Voter Search app.

(You DO NOT need a voter card to vote!) 

You must be a registered voter in Mecklenburg county to request a replacement voter card. If you are registering for the first time, a voter card will automatically be mailed out once your registration has been processed.

Update your Party Affiliation, Residential or Mailing Address, or Name on your voter registration. The civilian voter registration deadline (25 days before Election Day).

​Voting in elections is a great way to get involved, share your voice, and be active in your community. When voting, voters have many ways they may choose to cast their choice. Absentee voting provides an alternative to the traditional method of appearing in person and casting a ballot on election day. 

Federal and state laws require early voting locations and Election Day polling sites to be accessible to all voters.

Provides case management and care coordination services to help families achieve greater levels of economic mobility. 

Noncustodial parents must be located before support is given.
