Nutritious meals and activities for seniors age 60 years and older. Activities include opportunities for physical activity, meaningful socialization, arts, health literacy, and educational programs.

Weekly home-delivery of meals to seniors who are assessed to be “homebound” and cannot attend a congregate nutrition site.

The focus of this program is to distribute groceries and fresh produce to eligible seniors facing food insecurity.

Grants to Replace Aging Diesel Engines (GRADE) is an air quality improvement program designed to reduce oxides of nitrogen (NOx).

Mecklenburg County Air Quality administers the Mecklenburg County Air Pollution Control Ordinance as well as state and federal regulatory programs to limit and minimize criteria and toxic air pollutants from industrial sources. 

Mecklenburg County Air Quality promotes voluntary and incentive-based programs to minimize air pollution from mobile sources like motor vehicles and off-road equipment.
